Commencement is a wonderful day of celebration not only for graduates, but for the parents, families, and friends who have encouraged, supported, and believed in the Class of 2017. Our graduates have committed to learning and growing in the spirit of St. John Bosco and have worked diligently to earn their diplomas. Now, they are prepared to take the next step in their life's journey.

UPCOMING SENIOR EVENTS

Thursday, May 18

 

Senior Day of Recollection

A mandatory day of recollection in which Seniors gather to reflect on their high school experience and to prepare for the endeavors of being a young man in the world. 


Attire: Bosco spirit dress, Bosco polo, jeans are allowed. Seniors will receive yearbooks. 

Friday, May 19

 

Grad Night
Students leave Bosco at 11:30 a.
m. and return around 3 a.m. on May 20.  

 

Attire: Casual clothing, no school or brand logos.

Senior Final Exams

GRADUATION INFORMATION 

Wednesday, May 24 - Senior Assembly & Graduation Practice

  • Upon completion of their last Senior Final Exam, students will be dismissed to the Gym for their final assembly.
  • After the Assembly students will have Graduation Practice until 1:30 p.m.

  • Seniors will be given graduation information.

  • Graduates are placed in two groups - #1 and #2 - please note which group your son is in so you can plan your seating.

Friday, May 26 - Baccalaureate Liturgy & Awards

  • Baccalaureate Liturgy & Awards is held in the Quad.
  • No Tickets Necessary.
  • Mass begins at 5 p.m.
  • Check-in is at 4:30 p.m. on the side of the chapel.
    • At check-in, Seniors will receive their graduation packet containing commencement tickets (2 VIP Parent Tickets) and honor regalia and tassels (if earned).
  • Dress Code: Clean shaven, tie, dress shirt, dress pants, belt & shoes.
    • Any student not properly groomed will be required to correct the infraction prior to the ceremony. We ask for your full cooperation on this.

Saturday, May 27 - Graduation

  • Graduation is held in the quad at 9 a.m.
  • Seniors must report to the Theater by 7:45 a.m.
    • 7:45 a.m. - Theater
    • 8:15 a.m. - Group picture
    • 8:45 a.m. - Line up on Intramural Field 
  • VIP/Parent tickets are necessary for reserved seating. Two are distributed to each Senior at the Baccalaureate Liturgy.
  • Pool Entrance gates open for parents/guests at 8 a.m.
    • No balloons, signs, streamers, noisemakers will be allowed during the ceremony. Open seating. No reserving seats.
  • Dress Code: Clean shaven, tie, dress shirt, dress pants, belt & shoes.
  • Seniors Keep their cap and gown.
  • Seniors pick up their Diploma in the MPR after the ceremony.

Park in the practice field between the baseball field and stadium. Enter through the stadium access road.

Final Transcript Request 
St. John Bosco will send one free final transcript to the university/college your Senior will attend in the Fall. Submit your final transcript request to Ms. Araque in the Registrar Office using this form by May 31, 2017. After May 31, there will be a $25 fee for each final transcript requested. Click here to submit your request

 

Graduation Cap & Gown 
All caps and gowns have been distributed. If your son did not pick one up or receive one, please have him stop by the Activities Office ASAP. Seniors keep their cap and gown after graduation.

Bosco Bricks
Graduation is a milestone to be proud of. Personalized bricks are available to honor new grads! Bricks are placed in the Senior Quad in front of the gymnasium. Make a permanent mark on campus with a brick!
