Academic Pathways
Through a series of Academic Pathways, students may choose a specific area of interest in which they will participate in advanced level coursework and project-based learning experiences over four years.
Since 1940, St. John Bosco High School has been committed to empowering students to achieve their fullest academic potential. In keeping with this mission, St. John Bosco has introduced new learning opportunities designed to enhance our already outstanding college preparatory curriculum.
Biomedical
The Bio-Medical Pathway is designed for students who excel in mathematics and natural sciences and are interested in the fields of biology or medicine.
Computer Science
St. John Bosco Computer Science/Software Engineering pathway students enjoy a rigorous curriculum and collaborative projects, develop deep computer science knowledge, gain essential skills such as problem-solving, critical and creative thinking, communication, collaboration, and perseverance, and leave Bosco with a path for success in today’s technologically centered world.
Engineering
The Engineering Pathway challenges students to create, design, build, discover, collaborate and solve problems.
Entrepreneurship
The Entrepreneurship Pathway is designed for students interested in creating and running a business.
Film & Media Arts
The Film and Media Arts Pathway is a professional industry preparation program designed to prepare students for collegiate film school. Through a project-based approach, students will learn the art of storytelling, production, design, directing, cinematography, animation, editing and the business of the media industry.
Sports Medicine
The Sports Medicine Pathway is designed for students interested in fields such as athletic training, physical therapy, medicine, fitness, physiology of exercise, kinesiology, nutrition, and other sports medicine-related fields.
