Admissions Step-by-Step

From visiting campus to hitting submit on your application, we're here to help every step of the way.

Applying to high school is a big step, and we’re here to make the process as smooth as possible. Each step below is designed to help us get to know you and to help you get to know what makes St. John Bosco such a special place.

Follow the timeline and checklist below to stay on track, and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. We can’t wait to meet you at one of our events this year!

Step 1: Visit

Get to know more about St. John Bosco High School by browsing our website, taking a campus tour, participating in our "Brave for a Day" Shadow Program and attending our events. We recommend researching all of our upcoming events and registering for them in one submission here.

Step 2: Apply

Step 3: Review Your Checklist

Once you have submitted your application, log back in to your account to review your checklist. This is where you will go to complete steps 4-7. (Please allow 24 hours for your checklist to update after you've submitted your application.)

Step 4: Upload Transcript & Test Scores

Upload your 7th and 8th grade transcript (report card/progress report) and standardized testing (STAR, IOWA, CAASPP, etc.) completed in the 7th or 8th grade. Please note, if you are applying during the first trimester of 8th grade, we understand that 8th grade report cards will not be available until after the application deadline.

Step 5: Request Recommendations

Log in to your account and request recommendations from your math and English teacher, as well as your principal. All recommendation forms will be filled out electronically (preferably before your interview). Please give your school officials plenty of time to complete and return to our admissions team.

Step 8: Acceptance!

Placement into the Class of 2030 will be emailed to you. Enrollment contracts must be completed within one week to secure your space in the incoming freshman class.
