Dear Parents & Guardians,

As many of you know, Mr. Eugene Fabiero, our music instructor and band director, recently underwent a heart transplant. We have received notice about his status from his wife Karen. Unfortunately, the body has rejected the new heart and he will be taken off of life support today. We have announced this to students today and prayed for the family. All students who are in need of support through this difficult time will have access to our counselors. They will be informed that they can ask to see a counselor or school administrator anytime they feel the need. We ask that you take time to pray for God's grace upon the Fabiero family.

Eugene wanted everyone to know that the St. John Bosco community brought him much joy and love. Karen is very grateful for all of the support and prayers from the community. We will continue to keep the Fabieros in our prayers during this time. We will communicate further once updates are obtained.
