November 12, 2019 Principal's Bulletin Looking Back
On Tuesday, November 5th we hosted Challenge Success for a parent education event titled "The Well Balanced Student" for our November PA meeting. Margaret Dunlap shared current research along with practical strategies for our families to support their children's health, resilience, and engagement in learning. Thank you to all who attended this meaningful presentation! We have received a lot of positive feedback from parents! Looking Ahead
Sweeney Todd Come see the students of St. John Bosco High School and Saint Joseph High School bring this horrifically musical tale to life! They have been tirelessly preparing for this production and would love to see you there! This show is for high school aged students and older. Shows will be November 15 – November 24. Novemebr 22 - Upcoming Parent Teacher Conference In efforts to maximize our effectiveness of conferences we have made some adjustments to the format of parent teacher conferences this year.
The following dates and times will provide opportunities for parent-student-teacher conferences:
Format 1: First Come, First Serve Basis in the MPR from 7:30am-8:45am Teachers will keep conferences to about 5 minutes in length if a line develops. Doors will open at 7:25am and close at 8:30am on the following dates:
Format 2: Conference by appointment from 2:00pm-3:30pm Conferences in teacher's classrooms will be reserved in 15 minute blocks. Please contact your son's teacher to setup a time.
Please note that the above dates are not the only dates you can meet with your sons teachers. Teachers are available to you via email, phone call, or in person. To schedule a time other than the above dates, please reach out to any teacher and they will coordinate with you to find a time that works. Last Tailgate of the Year On Campus This Friday Brave Nation! Tailgate Packages are now available for the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Playoffs! Bosco vs. Calabasas. Kick off is 11/15 at 7pm at Panish Family Stadium. Click here to purchase - tailgate packages are only $25 and include dinner, two drinks, and a ticket to the game.
