MARCH 2017

Fellow Braves Alumni,

It's the last athletic season at St. John Bosco High School and we are moving from Winter into the Spring Season. As I've shared with you before, we continue to build a world class college preparatory environment, with top flight academics, programs, sports and facilities.

With Don Barbara as our Head Baseball Coach the past two seasons, our record and reputation is quickly improving to maintain the consistency and prestige that Bosco Baseball has always been known for and now, we need your help. The program that Nomar Garciaparra, Evan Longoria and every Brave baseball player that came before and after them has built is requesting our assistance with some vital maintenance and improvements to the Bosco baseball field.

We have established a GoFundMe account with a goal of $38,000. As with everything I personally ask of our Braves Alumni, it is not important to what level you participate as much as it is that you do participate in some manner and I will join you in this. Will you help us support our fellow Braves and support these much needed purchases for the baseball program?

Lastly, please save the date of Saturday, May 20 for the Braves Gala and start getting your groups together for this stunning event. Come back to campus and have a good time!

As always, I am available anytime and for anything at Stephen.Fillet@Alumni.Bosco.orgFeel free to drop me a line to say hello!

Thank you for your support. Go Braves!

Bosco Baseball needs your help to reach their goal of raising $38,000 to purchase reliable equipment for field maintenance and their equipment storage needs. With your generosity, Coach Barbara and Coach Talanoa will be able to purchase equipment to protect and level the playing surface while maintaining it and give Bosco Braves the caliber of field that they deserve.

This season Bosco Baseball has seven players who will be attending a division one school after graduation. These players are receiving either full or partial scholarships to schools such as: California State University, Long Beach, San Jose State, USC, Houston and California State University, Fullerton. This is a few of the accomplishments Bosco Baseball has made this school year. We thank you for your support! Go Braves!
