Youth Events

Our Football Program at St. John Bosco High School has made a commitment to serving the youth student-athletes in our community in a variety of ways.  The primary purpose of these youth events is to provide proper instruction and skill building for the youth football player.  Regardless of skill level of the athlete, these youth events are designed to incorporate the fundamentals and techniques necessary to excel at the youth football level.  All events will be coached and supervised by the certified coaching staff at St. John Bosco High School.

Jason Negro Youth Academy

The Jason Negro Youth Academy is offered over 2-weekends in the month of January. Student-athletes will work on the fundamentals of football. All participants will be coached in a variety of football related activities such as: individual drills, combine tests, 7 on 7 passing scrimmages, blocking technique drills and team events. Although proper tackling form and techniques will be demonstrated, there will be no full contact tackling drills.  Check back in December for 2025 dates!

Game Day Youth Experience

St. John Bosco High School is proud to host a variety of Game Day | Youth Experiences.  These unique and one of a kind events are to provide any prospective St. John Bosco, future student, an inside glimpse of what it is like to be a Bosco Brave.  The Youth Experience program is organized and executed by the St. John Bosco Admissions Team, who will be present to answer any questions and monitor all participants throughout the event.  Each participant will receive a personalized St. John Bosco Game Day lanyard and a food voucher to be redeemed at the snack bar for a pre-game meal.

During a home varsity football game, Game Day | Youth Experience participants will enjoy an up close, personal experience during their time on campus.  After checking into the main school lobby, they will be escorted by the Admissions Team to Panish Family Stadium to watch pre-game warm-ups.  From the field, behind the east end zone they will watch the players warm-up, catch the speed and action of drills, meet current players, and experience the Bosco Brotherhood in person.  At the conclusion of warm-ups, your future Brave will be guided to the snack bar to redeem their pre-game meal and be released back to their parents.

The St. John Bosco Admissions Team will be on-site throughout the game to answer questions.  Game Day | Youth Experience participants are encouraged to join the St. John Bosco and St. Joseph’s students in The Tribe Student Section for an optimal game night experience.  Go BRAVES!
