Amy Krisch enters her fifth season as Head Coach of the St. John Bosco Golf Program. Since taking over the program in August 2022, she has drawn on more than 30 years of experience in a game that has been a constant throughout her life.

Coach Krisch began playing competitively in high school and went on to become a four-year member of the women’s golf team at California State University, Monterey Bay. She also competed at Jericho National Golf Club, where she became the youngest runner-up in the 2003 Club Championship and the youngest winner of the Women’s Best Ball Invitational in 2004. Her experience in the game also includes volunteering at PGA and LPGA Tour events and with the First Tee of Monterey County.

Since Coach Krisch’s first season with the Braves in spring 2023, the program has continued to build momentum. In 2025, Bosco qualified for the CIF-SS Division 5 Team Championships for the first time in six years and earned a top-10 finish. The Braves returned to the team championships in 2026 and also sent an individual golfer to the CIF-SS Individual Regionals for the first time since 2022. It was the first time in program history that Bosco qualified both an individual and the team for postseason competition in the same season.

Away from the course, Coach Krisch has spent more than a decade at St. John Bosco and currently serves as Director of Special Events. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Communication from California State University, Monterey Bay, and an associate degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management from the Golf Academy of America.

Brian Miller enters his third season as the Junior Varsity Coach for the St. John Bosco Golf Program. He is also a science teacher and member of Bosco’s Biomedical Pathway faculty.

Coach Miller brings decades of experience working with student-athletes, including a successful tenure as the head baseball coach at La Salle High School. In 1996, he led the Lancers to the first CIF-SS baseball championship in school history.

His experience as both a teacher and coach allows him to connect with players at different stages of their development while helping them build confidence, compete, and understand the importance of being part of a team.
