The St. John Bosco Golf program has been competing since the 1960s and as with all of our other Athletic Programs, our Trinity League Competition is as tough as there is in the country.  We strive to compete at the highest levels of competition while still offering room for beginners and those who are new to the sport and just learning.  As such, we have varsity, junior varsity and frosh-soph teams and will continue to have 3 teams as long as we have enough student-athletes to maintain 3 levels.

Last season, Matthew Ingram qualified for the CIF tournament and we welcomed some students who had never played competitive golf before.  We can accommodate up to 30 student-athletes in the program, so we are hoping to add at least 10 new players this season.  Come on out and join the golf team for some good competition, lots of enjoyment, and to be even more a part of the Bosco brotherhood.

Tryouts Begin October 14, 2021

SJB golf team tryouts will be held at Los Amigos golf course after school beginning Thursday, October 14.  Tryouts will continue each Tuesday and Thursday until November 16.  You may come on any or all of the days.  Make sure you have taken your physical and uploaded it to the Bosco website, and you have uploaded your Family I.D. info as well.  Please contact Coach Hastert by email if you have any questions.  See you at the course!
