2020-2021 REGIONAL CHAMPIONS
St. John Bosco has a long tradition of building athletic legacies.
The 2021-22 St. John Bosco Basketball Team added to the great tradition of the Braves Basketball Program. The Braves advanced to the CIF Division 1 Semi-Finals, and earned a bid to the State Playoffs for the 5th consecutive season. The 2021-22 season came on the heels of the Braves' 2020-21 CIF Southern California Div 1 Regional Championship win. There are currently 18 former Braves playing College Basketball, led by Sandy Ryan (Tulane) Josh Adoh (Bucknell), Lamaj Lewis (Loyola Marymount) and Scotty Washington (Cal Baptist) who are recently joined by 2022 grads DJ Henry (Cal Maritime), Marko Kenz (Northwestern College) and Christian Estrada (Biola).
The 2022-23 team is led by returning All-League junior Jack Turner and All-League Sophomores Elzie Harrington and Kade Bonam. They are joined by a great combination of returners and newcomers, including seniors Delyle Williams and Mateo Duran. Last year's CIF Semi-Final run follows the State Regional Championship as the Braves continue to be one of Southern California's best and most consistent programs.
